Wednesday November 28th,
I got off work at 0730am and met Taylor at the U-haul place to pick up the truck, we took it to Grandma Janet's house and picked up all our furniture we had been storing in her garage.
Then we took the truck to our apartment and loaded up the remainder of all the furniture and boxes that didn't fit in the pull-along covered trailer we packed the week before with boxes. We loaded the entire rest of the apartment in 2 hours with just Taylor, my mom and myself. It was pretty impressive. We parked the U-haul at Taylor's parents house in their driveway for the night.
These pictures were a few days before we actually moved out. It was much more packed up than these show.
Thursday November 29th,
We drove from Taylor's parents house where we stayed the night to the bank and closed on our house with our Realtor Jeannette Klinkenborg. We were there for about an hour and a half and just signed tons of paperwork. This picture was in the parking lot of the bank, right after we closed!!!
We then went back to Taylor's parents house, picked up the U-haul and met my parents at the new house! We got the keys about 45 minutes later but the house was unlocked so we started unloading all the trucks into the garage.
Someone is excited!
My moving day soundtrack started with this!
We emptied the U-haul in 1 hour into the garage.
Our garage was packed. I have no idea how we fit everything into that tiny apartment.
Friday, November 30th
Taylor had to work this day, so my mom came over and helped me get the last few things out of our apartment and move them to the new house and then we vaccuumed it out and left for the last time. Bittersweet.
This was our first home together and there were lots of great memories there, but on to bigger and better things!!!
