the spaceships have landed

Alright so we have this great apartment, and it comes with WASHER AND DRYER HOOKUPS. Now we all know (well most of us know) that Taylor and I were both living with our parents before we got married thus we did not own our own washer or dryer. I had lived in an apartment in college (the treehouse as we called it).
This is the treehouse (green carpet, 2 full walls of windows on a 2nd story and wooden walls and ceiling)

without a washer and dryer and would bring a month's worth of laundry home to KC to wash it and go back to emporia with it, which was fine as a college student, especially since I have an obsession with victoria's secret underwear (I had plenty of pairs to last a month or more). Needless to say after 4 months of living in this new apartment as an "adult" married woman with no washer and dryer, I was getting tired of still going to my parents house to wash my stuff, and it became super awkward when Taylor's underwear would get into my hamper and EXPECIALLY vise versa and it would go in his hamper to his parents house. So for christmas we got each other our new WASHER AND DRYER

It looks like a freakin spaceship....
It's funny to watch Taylor freakout after throwing something into the washer thinking its going to fall in the drum but it sets on top of the glass.

Look at all my options for wash cycles, I especially love the "active wear" one. As if I have enough dirty workout clothes in a week to do a whole load of wash HAH

I like that you can change the temperature of water, spin and soil levels.

It tells you how long the wash is going to take!

And in more exciting news, my husband let me stop at some hole in the wall antique stores on the way home from Oklahoma yesterday and I found these gems hidden under old lady coats and in between musty smelling bed frames

The ladder is about 6ft tall-ish and Im going to put it in my bathroom with hand towels on the rungs....maybe...$27 folks.
The old milk crate is to die for and super sturdy, I can't decide what to use it for yet, wine rack, towel rack, scrap crap? The options are endless....$13 Woot Woot
