first craft post! get pumped

Alright we all know I am obsessed with crafts. So since I started blogging I have done several amazing projects but they are christmas gifts because we are giving from the thoughtful and homemade section this year. i.e. I am making lots of our gifts this year but they arent cheap or crappy. They are awesome. I am also doing several crafts to decorate our little apartment for christmas/winter. So I saw this on pintrest



and made my own for $5 total!!! WHOA

so get fruit from the dolla dolla store $1 each peice, although the woman at the store ringing up my collection o' crap even admitted they should be 2 for $1. I told her to work on that for me. The get elmer's glue and silver glitter (both sold at the dolla store) but I already had both.

No need to paint them first, your glitter will cover. Spread glue with finger. A very thin layer is all you will need so spread out that big glob I took a pic of until all of your fruit is covered with glue.

Then coat with glitter. I had one paper plate for finished fruit and one to just sprinkle with glitter over so I could put all the excess back in to my jar for later amazing projects.

TA DA!!!! Place in bowl on your counter top or coffee table.People will tihnk you spent $25 at pottery barn for your display. I added ornaments and such with mine to make a little centerpeice. Ill post a pic of that later....

and to leave you on a discusting note...Taylor found out why our bathtub drain wasn't draining very fast.
