THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!!!!!!

Unfortunately like I said earlier I had to work thanksgiving night. We went to my parents house and got to eat turkey and all the fixings and then I got to eat it again as leftovers for my "dinner" at the hospital. I survived obviously and it was fine. The fun part came when we got to take Taylor to crown center and ice skating for the first time!!! Since my mom worked at hallmark and down around crown center for 15 years we ALWAYS went to crown center around christmas. There are pictures of me as a tiny tot with santa ect. Our christmas card one year was at the ice rink too. This year was a blast because we got to share those amazing memories with Taylor. We skated first. Of course Steve (my stepdad) is still amazing at it after playing hockey when he was younger and my sister Erika is naturally good at it too.. Me not so much! I didn't fall though!! Taylor and I held onto the sides almost the whole time. 3 year olds were better at it than we were but we had a blast. Taylor's skates were about 2 inches two narrow and he said it felt like his feet were folded in half length wise so his feet killed but he did awesome and I think he loved it. He says he wants to do it again so he can practice and get better. To be honest I was just thrilled I didn't fall on my butt because OUCH! Taylor kept laughing about picturing him falling down on his face and knocking out his teeth. Then he could really say "all I want for christmas is my two front teeth". Ha

Here are pics for all your viewing pleasure.

Also. We went to crown center after and ate at Fritz's (the burger place where they serve your food on the train....Great place for kids to go!) The food is great and cheap.

Then we went and got fudge and saw the EMB laughing santa. Taylor thought he was creepy.
GREAT NIGHT AND A GREAT WAY TO BRING IN THE HOLIDAYS!
